210-spRegular maintenance is a must. Think about it for a moment. Your jet ski endures high speeds and harsh elements every time you take it out. Although they are built to take this abuse, over time any neglect will cost you hundreds if not thousands of pounds in repair bills not to mention being stranded out on the water. Regular servicing is the most cost effective way of ensuring you’ll be enjoying your watercraft for years to come and an excellent way to get the highest resale value for your ski.

Any broken part should be replaced with genuine Seadoo Parts. This will avoid problems in the future as you will know that the part has been constructed and tested by Seadoo themselves, and then placing their authenticity on the part.

servicingAs the East of England’s exclusive Seadoo main agent we are able to offer full servicing and aftercare service at our fully equipped workshop. We use genuine Seadoo parts to ensure the factory performance, safety, reliability and warranty of your jet ski is maintained and we carry all servicing items in stock.

We use sophisticated Seadoo diagnostic equipment to analyse and diagnose any potential faults quickly and efficiently and carry most repair items and genuine Seadoo parts in stock.. This keeps your cost down and gets you back on the water as soon as possible so you can enjoy the rest of the season.

Performance upgrades: If you need a little extra performance from your existing craft we can fit a wide variety of race parts to blow your competition out of the water. Whether you want better acceleration out of the hole, more top end speed or tighter handling we can put together a package that will turn your standard ski into a performance tuned racer.

Genuine Parts vs non genuine or counterfeit parts

seadoo-genuineBenefits of Genuine Parts: they’re specifically designed for your vehicle, they must pass constant quality control checks to ensure that your seadoo remains as safe and reliable as the day it was first used, their use will ensure your crafts Euro NCAP rating is maintained whereas the use of non-genuine parts could compromise your safety and that of your passengers, they’re protected by the manufacturer warranty, they’re engineered and manufactured to stringent standards – for a precise, just-like-new fit and they will add value to your vehicle – we’ll stamp your service book to prove the genuine manufacturer mark.

Non-genuine parts could be made from sub-standard materials that may only last for a short time, which could jeopardise the safety of you, your craft and your family. Counterfeit consumables, such as engine oil and non-genuine accessories can have damaging effects on your vehicle, leading to costly repairs and potentially invalidating your warranty and insurance. Imitation parts can compromise yourcraft, and may void your warranty and, surprisingly, they are not always cheaper! Our service centres only use genuine parts so you receive only the best craftsmanship, performance, precision and value for your craft.

seadoopic1Driving a Seadoo Boat is fun! Whether driving one on the sea or on a lake, there’s hardly a better way to spend an afternoon. Maybe you’ve ridden one on vacation or tried out a friend’s machine and now you’re thinking of buying your very own Watercraft. At 158 Performance we are stock the Seadoo range of Personal Watercraft. The range is wide and can be daunting unless you are an experienced boat owner.

We can work through the different options available to help you choose exactly the right craft for your needs, from speed, size, storage to how many passengers you would want to carry. Imagine the spray of water on your face as you ride on the waves at high speed with the sun overhead giving you the ideal tan, a boat can be the ultimate water fun. Boating refreshes the body’s senses, allowing the driver to chill out.

Radical change in personal watercraft

The past decade has seen a radical change in the typical personal watercraft enthusiast – and the machine they ride. Comfort and stability are just as important as performance, so it’s not surprising that more versatile three-passenger models account for 80 percent of PWC sales, while sportier models that dominated the market a decade ago have all but vanished from showrooms. Propulsion systems have changed too, switching from noisy, dirty and smelly two-stroke engines to high-tech four-strokers that are some of the quietest and cleanest power plants on the water today.

Personal Watercraft are generally designed to carry between one and four people, or even tow objects such as an inflatable tube. So, before you buy, you need to consider what size of craft is best going to suit your needs. For your own safety – especially if you intend to buy a second-hand Personal Watercraft – make sure the craft has a lanyard, which will turn the ignition off should you fall off during use. All modern Personal Watercraft should have a lanyard as standard.

At the heart of Seadoo boats is the Challenger platform, including three models of fully equipped, versatile recreational powerhouses designed to answer every consumer need for a fun day on the water. With sizes ranging from 18-ft to 23-ft (5.4 to 7 metres), BRP’s Sea-Doo Challenger boats provide more living space and increased control on the water with the newly designed helm stations (180 and 230), BRP’s award-winning iTC system now available on the Challenger 210 and 230 models and a broader choice of colours. The iTC system provides optimal convenience at the helm with functions such as ski mode, ECO mode, cruise control and docking mode.
